The next section cites the contemplation method of the Ekottarika-āgama to establish the aforementioned concentration on emptiness. Because one contemplates that this body is already conditionally formed by the coming together of conditions such as bones and hair, one must know that my self is ultimately unobtainable; this is the emptiness of persons. Further, understanding that the intrinsic nature of the conditions themselves is also empty; this is the emptiness of phenomena. Comprehending in accord with reality that both persons and phenomena are empty immediately destroys the two attachments; hence it is called the "most empty dharma."
