3.623

《智論》。斷漿，十二之外。不一心者，彼云：因飲漿故，遂求種種漿；謂果漿蜜漿等，如馬不著勒，左右噉草，不肯進路；若著勒，則噉草意斷。

The Mahāprajñāpāramitōpadeśa: Ceasing thick drinks is outside the twelve [dhūtas]. "Not being unified in mind": That text says: "Because of drinking thick drinks, one consequently seeks various kinds of drinks, such as fruit juices, honey drinks, and the like; like a horse without a bridle eating grass to the left and right and refusing to proceed along the road; if bridled, then the intent to eat grass is cut off."
