三中，初示禮儀。身口虔恭，用彰意重。出下，顯華梵。五下，明總別。中下，明受俗禮。《恭敬經》，即《中含》所集，彼云：爾時世尊告諸比丘，當行恭敬，及善觀敬重諸梵行人；若不恭敬，必無是處。

In the third [part], first it indicates the etiquette of bowing. Reverence of body and speech serves to manifest the gravity of intent. From "Expounding..." downward, it shows the Chinese and Sanskrit terms. From "Five..." downward, it clarifies the general and specific. From "Intermediate..." downward, it clarifies receiving bows from secular people. The Sūtra on Respect is what was compiled in the Madhyama Āgama; it says there: 'At that time the World-Honoured One told the bhikṣus, you should practice respect, and properly observe and revere all practitioners of celibacy; that one would not be respectful is completely impossible.'
