第四門，初科；前明敷座表敬，有二。一先聖後已，二退身避聖。《四分》，次明入位，互相檢校，不令非法。下引《僧祇》，示不如法，相糺正之法。摩訶羅，即愚癡比丘。尼但遣起，由女多羞。婬女，即尼眾中有作惡者。

In the fourth section, the first heading: the preceding explained arranging seats to express reverence, which has two aspects: first, the holy ones take precedence over oneself; second, stepping back to yield to the holy ones. Next, the Dharmaguptaka-vinaya explains entering the seats, inspecting one another to prevent unlawful conduct. Below, it cites the Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya to show the method for mutual correction when things are not in accordance with the Dharma. 'Mahallaka' refers to a foolish bhikṣu. A nun is merely told to rise, because women have much shame. 'Licentious women' refers to evil-doers among the nuns.
