十中。八人即留兩眾，餘開前去，同上有緣。貧道，亦云乏道，皆謙收之稱。今僧受齋，但知飽食接嚫而已。律儀法度，無一可觀。將何發彼善心，消他信施，悲失！

In the tenth [part]: Eight persons means retaining [four from each of] the two assemblies; the rest are permitted to go ahead, the same as those having reasons mentioned above. "Pauper in the Way" (pindao), also called "lacking in the Way" (fadao), are both humble self-designations. Nowadays when monks receive vegetarian meals, they only know how to eat their fill and receive their dakṣiṇā. In their vinaya deportment and rules, there is nothing commendable. How will this arouse their good mind or consume another's offerings of faith? How lamentable a loss!
