十三中，《地持》，初相見慰問。又下，隨緣呪願。《四分》，初明待遇病人。方便遣者，可遣即遣，為益彼故。稱譽聽作，謂有信俗人，無所歸者。若下，隨俗呪願。嚏，丁計反，噴鼻也。律因比丘不呪願，招譏，故制。

In the thirteenth: In the Bodhisattvabhūmi, it first treats meeting and inquiring after [someone]. From "Also..." down, it treats making aspirations and benedictions according to circumstances. In the Dharmaguptaka-vinaya, it first explains attending to sick persons. As for "conveniently sending them off": if they can be sent off, one sends them off, in order to benefit them. "Praising and allowing it to be done" refers to faithful laypeople who have nowhere to take refuge. From "If..." down, it treats uttering benedictions in accordance with worldly customs. Sneezing (ti, a fanqie of ding and ji) means blowing through the nose. In the vinaya, because a bhikṣu did not utter a benediction and incurred ridicule, it was prohibited.
