Under the third [part], it first explains the method of lying down. Stepping back to squat means sitting back with the body. Qīn is pronounced qiàn (yawn), opening the mouth to stretch one's breath; zhà is in the falling tone, meaning to sigh. Pack of dogs means leaning against one another. Arising in due season means being mindful of the dawn mark; "when a thought arises in the mind, one should rebuke it" refers to thoughts of indolence, indulgence in sleep, and the like. "Again" below next explains the method for getting up and entering the assembly. Yí means to leave behind.
