The next section: First it clarifies one's own assembly, with two [cases]: first, having a mount to go and welcome [him] back. "Lacking discernment" refers to being unconscious. Normally, female cattle and female horses may not be ridden, but because the illness is severe, an exception is made. "If there is none" below next clarifies going to seek [him] without a mount. Not circumambulating the stupa and the like is out of fear of delay. "And welcoming together" means summoning dānapatis to go and welcome [him], the same as the bhikṣus above. "If on the road" below next explains the assembly of nuns. The similarities and differences can be seen. Jāvi (śavadhāha) is translated here as cremation. Laypeople dislike sending [the body] far away, so they are not allowed to see it. "The rest" below finally explains the lower assemblies. Because the text is brief and does not list them, it orders that they follow this standard.
