Under indicating the offenses: for a saṃghāvaśeṣa for violating the admonition, the Commentary on the Prātimokṣa says: "When the saṃgha admonishes, if after the jñaptidvitīyā is finished one desists, there are three sthūlātyayas; up to if after the jñapti is finished one desists, there is one sthūlātyaya; before the jñapti is finished, one duṣkṛta." For a sthūlātyaya for splitting the saṃgha, it is one of the five ānantaryas. For a pāyattika toward an individual person, it is because of resisting private admonition. "Other methods" refers to admonition in the saṃgha and in private; the past and present adoptions and rejections are detailed in that commentary, and are not troubled to be cited here.
