若未白前，惡性不受人語，一切吉羅。尼同僧犯。不犯者：若初諫便捨；非法訶諫，非法、非律、非佛所說者。若為無知人訶諫時，應語彼言「汝和尚、阿闍梨所行亦爾。汝當更學問誦經」，若其事如是，若錯說者，皆不犯。

If, prior to making the formal announcement, he has an evil nature and does not accept others' words, in all cases it is a duṣkṛta. The offenses for bhikṣuṇīs are the same as for the Saṃgha [of bhikṣus]. There is no offense: if he desists upon the initial admonition; in cases of unlawful reproval and admonition, that which is not Dharma, not Vinaya, and not spoken by the Buddha. If, when reproved and admonished by an ignorant person, he says to him, 'What your upādhyāya and ācārya do is also like this; you should study more, inquire, and recite the sūtras'—if the matter is truly so, or if the speaker spoke in error, in all cases there is no offense.
