謂信佛、法、僧，歸佛，歸法，歸僧，不殺、不盜、不邪婬、不妄語、不飲酒，善憶持事不錯，所說實而不妄。

meaning one who believes in the Buddha, Dharma, and Saṃgha, takes refuge in the Buddha, takes refuge in the Dharma, takes refuge in the Saṃgha, does not kill, does not steal, does not commit sexual misconduct, does not lie, does not drink alcohol, remembers matters well without error, and whose words are true and not false.
