諸大德！我已說「戒經序」，已說四波羅夷法，已說十三僧伽婆尸沙法，已說二不定法，已說三十尼薩耆波逸提法，已說九十波逸提法，已說四波羅提提舍尼法，已說眾學式叉迦羅尼法，已說七滅諍法。此是佛所說《戒經》，半月半月說，《戒經》中來。

Venerables, I have recited the ‘Preface to the Prātimokṣa Sūtra’; I have recited the four pārājika rules; I have recited the thirteen saṃghāvaśeṣa rules; I have recited the two aniyata rules; I have recited the thirty niḥsargika-prāyaścittika rules; I have recited the ninety prāyaścittika rules; I have recited the four pratideśanīya rules; I have recited the rules of training (śikṣākaraṇīya); I have recited the seven rules for settling legal disputes (adhikaraṇa-śamatha). This is the Prātimokṣa Sūtra taught by the Buddha, recited half-month by half-month, which comes from the Prātimokṣa Sūtra.
