「譬如蜂採華，不壞色與香，但取其味去；
比丘出聚然，不違戾他事，不觀作不作，
但自觀身行，若正若不正。」

"Just as a bee gathers nectar from a flower
Without harming its color or fragrance,
Taking only its taste and departing;
So the bhikṣu goes among settlements,
Not meddling in the affairs of others,
Not observing what is done or not done,
Observing only the conduct of one's own body,
Whether it is upright or not upright."
