三十五、繫盋想者，《婆沙論》中觀鉢作髑髏想。《僧祇》云「端心觀鉢，不得放鉢在前共比坐語。若有緣須語，左手撫鉢上。若行食人到第三人時，當先修鉢預待。」

Rule thirty-five, mindfulness fixed on the bowl: in the Mahāvibhāṣā-śāstra, one contemplates the bowl as a skull. The Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya says: "With an upright mind, contemplate the bowl; one must not place the bowl in front and talk with the one sitting beside. If there is a reason requiring speech, caress the top of the bowl with the left hand. When the person distributing food reaches the third person [away], one should first adjust the bowl in anticipation."
