Sixth is the abbreviated [prātimokṣa] of Kāśyapa Buddha. If the people of that Buddha's era attained samādhi, they mostly gave rise to attachment to its taste and did not seek what is pure and superior; this is what the Vimalakīrtinirdeśa refers to as "craving the taste of dhyāna is the bodhisattva's bondage." To counteract that, he therefore instituted the precept, saying, "Do not commit any evil," which counteracts the evil of breaking precepts. "One should practice all wholesome deeds" is to cultivate wholesome and pure samādhi, not samādhi of attachment. "Directing one's own mind and intention correctly" is to cause one to lead to the fruit of realization. The rest of the text can be understood.
