第六十六、發諍戒。諍有四種，言覓犯事，令僧乖破是四諍攝，發起犯提，若汎諍口發起但吉也。「如法懺悔」者，謂以七滅滅也。七滅四諍，至下七滅戒中釋之。

The sixty-sixth, the precept on instigating disputes: There are four kinds of disputes. Speaking of seeking out offences to cause the Saṃgha to fracture and split belongs to the four disputes; instigating it incurs a prāyaścittika; if one merely instigates an ordinary verbal dispute, it is only a duṣkṛta. 'Repenting according to the Dharma' refers to settling them with the seven methods of settlement. The seven methods of settlement and four disputes will be explained below under the precepts on the seven methods of settlement.
