2.95

第七十一、輕餘善諫戒。他以戒律勸如法學，輕蔑推託不敬善友，妄託勝求輕此善人而得罪也。前不受諫，無言妄託直違。而作今此妄託，未待事違，是故律文說而了了犯也。若不妄託，實欲勝求，如文開許。

Seventy-first, the precept on disparaging another's good admonition. When another person encourages one to train according to the Dharma using the precepts and vinaya, one commits an offence if one disdains and evades it, fails to respect the good friend, and falsely feigns seeking higher instruction while slighting this good person. Previously, when not accepting admonition, one directly disobeyed without making a false excuse. Here, however, making this false excuse does not wait upon a practical disobedience [to be an offence]; therefore, the vinaya text states that the offence is explicitly incurred upon speaking. If one does not falsely feign it and genuinely wishes to seek higher instruction, it is an exception as permitted in the text.
