「大德僧聽！此某甲比丘，今從眾僧乞度人授具足戒。僧今與某甲比丘度人授具足戒。誰諸長老忍『僧與某甲比丘度人授具足戒』者默然，誰不忍者說。
"May the bhadantas of the saṃgha listen! This bhikṣu N.N. now requests from the saṃgha permission to ordain a person and confer upasampadā. The saṃgha now grants bhikṣu N.N. permission to ordain a person and confer upasampadā. Whichever āyuṣmats approve of the saṃgha granting bhikṣu N.N. permission to ordain a person and confer upasampadā, remain silent; whoever does not approve, speak.
