（《律》中，度羅睺羅為最初。《僧祇》云：「若年七歲，解知好惡，與出家。過七十，臥起須人，不得度；若能修習諸業，聽出家。若初欲出家者，為說苦事，一食、一住、一眠、多學問。答『能』者，度。」）

(In the Vinaya, the ordination of Rāhula was the very first. The Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya states: "If one is seven years of age and can understand good and bad, grant him leaving the household. If over seventy and needing others to lie down and get up, he must not be ordained; if he can practice the various duties, he is permitted to leave the household. When one first wishes to leave the household, speak to him of hardships: eating once [a day], dwelling alone, sleeping once [a day], and much studying. If he answers 'I can', ordain him.")
