（戒是生死舟航、正法根本，必須緣集相應，有違雖受不得。今解二種羯磨具足五緣方成。）

(The precepts are the boat through birth and death, the foundation of the true Dharma; the conditions must assemble and correspond, for if there is any violation, though received, [the precepts] are not obtained. It is now explained that the two kinds of karman are accomplished only when five conditions are fully met.)
