應語言：「善男子諦聽！今是至誠時，我今當問汝，汝隨我問應答。若不實者，當言不實；若實，言實。汝不犯邊罪耶？」

One should address him, saying: “Listen carefully, good son! Now is the time of utmost sincerity. I shall now question you, and you should answer according to my questioning. If it is not true, you must say it is not true; if it is true, say it is true. Have you not committed a borderline offense?”
