「善男子聽！如來、至真、等正覺說四依法，比丘依此得出家，受具足戒，成比丘法。比丘依糞掃衣，依此得出家，受具足戒，成比丘法。是中盡形壽能持不？」

"Good son, listen! The Tathāgata, the Truly Real, the Fully and Perfectly Awakened One has taught the four resources, relying on which a monk is able to go forth, receive the upasampadā, and accomplish the status of a monk. A monk relies on robes made of rags from a dust heap; relying on this he is able to go forth, receive the upasampadā, and accomplish the status of a monk. Can you keep this for the rest of your life?"
