（初言聚落，則有二種：若聚落界分不可分別者，准《僧祇》七樹之量，通計六間六十三步，若無異眾，得成羯磨；若可分別聚落者，准《十誦律》，盡聚落集之。）

(First, regarding the village, there are two kinds: if the village boundary limits cannot be distinguished, according to the Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya's measure of seven trees—calculating six intervals as sixty-three paces—if there is no separate assembly, the karman is validly completed; if the village can be distinguished, according to the Daśādhyāya-vinaya, one must assemble throughout the entire village.)
