（二言蘭若，亦有二種：若無難者，諸部多云「一拘盧舍」，按《雜寶藏》云「五里」是也，相傳以此為定；若難事蘭若，如《善見論》「七槃陀」之量，相去五十八步四尺八寸，得作羯磨。）

(Second, regarding the āraṇya, there are also two kinds: if there is no danger, most vinaya schools say "one krośa"—which, according to the Za baozang jing, is "five li", and this is traditionally accepted as the standard; if it is an āraṇya with danger, according to the Samantapāsādikā's measure of "seven gabbhas", being separated by fifty-eight paces, four chi, and eight cun, the karman may be performed.)
