（若但心念法，事通二界，人唯獨秉；若對首心念及眾法心念，界通二處，有人不得。並如前〈集法〉中列。三相歷然，不容臨機致有乖殊，法事不成。）

(If it is a procedure solely by mental resolve (cetanā), the matter applies to both boundaries, but the person undertakes it strictly alone. If it is a mental resolve face to face or a mental resolve for saṃgha procedures, the boundaries apply to both places, but if anyone is missing, it is invalid. These are all listed as in the preceding section on "Assembling the Procedures". The three marks are distinct, and one must not cause deviations when facing the situation, which would render the ritual procedure invalid.)
