（佛言：於僧說戒時，上座問言：「比丘尼眾遣何人來耶？」今但取當時說戒者問之。受囑授者即起，具修威儀，為白僧言：）

(The Buddha said: When the monks recite the precepts, the sthavira asks: 'Whom has the community of bhikṣuṇīs sent?' Now one simply has the person who is reciting the precepts at the time ask this. The one who received the charge of instruction then rises, fully adjusts his deportment, and makes a jñapti to the saṃgha, saying:)
