（《律本》云：「夏中當依第五律師廣誦二部律者，若違，得波逸提。春、冬依四種律師，違者突吉羅。」理准《律》意，應問彼言：）

(The vinaya text states: "During the summer retreat, one must rely upon a vinaya master of the fifth rank who can extensively recite the two divisions of the Vinaya. If one violates this, one incurs a pātayantikā. During spring and winter, one may rely upon four types of vinaya masters; those who violate this incur a duṣkṛta."
