（《毘尼母》云：「五人共住，一人死，不得作展轉分。」《律》中出法，少不具足。今准非時僧得施，羯磨具有展轉之言，則五人已上須用此法。《律》文：「當差一人令分，白二羯磨，如是與之。」有人存三番作法，此思文未了，亦有存二番法者。今准羯磨文中具含付、分二法，餘無，故不出。准《律》羯磨云：）

(The Vinayamātṛkā states: "If five people dwell together and one dies, they must not perform serial distribution." The procedure set out in the Vinaya is somewhat incomplete. Now, in accordance with the untimely donation received by the saṃgha, the karman contains the words for serial distribution; therefore, five people and above must use this procedure. The Vinaya text states: "One person should be appointed to distribute them by a jñapti-dvitīya-karman, and give them like this." Some maintain three rounds of procedure, but this reading of the text is not definitive; there are also those who maintain two rounds of procedure. Now, in accordance with the karman text, which contains both the entrustment and the distribution procedures, while other [methods] do not exist, they are not presented.
