白僧自恣時法（自今已去，聽安居竟自恣。聽遮自恣，不應求聽，何以故？自恣即是聽。又諸比丘不知今日自恣，明日自恣。佛言：自今已去，聽若小食上、中食上，上座唱言：）

The procedure for announcing to the saṃgha the time of pravāraṇā (From now on, after the rains retreat has concluded, pravāraṇā is permitted. Restricting pravāraṇā is permitted, but one should not seek permission [to speak], because pravāraṇā is itself granting permission. Furthermore, the bhikṣus did not know whether pravāraṇā was today or tomorrow. The Buddha said: "From now on, it is permitted that either before the morning meal or before the midday meal, the sthavira proclaims:"):
