白僧自恣時法（自今已去，聽安居竟自恣。聽遮自恣，不應求聽，何以故？自恣即是聽。又不知今日自恣，明日自恣。佛言：若小食上、中食上，上座唱言：）

The Procedure for Announcing the Time of Pravāraṇā to the Saṃgha: (From now on, [the monks] are permitted to conduct pravāraṇā when the rains retreat is completed. They are permitted to prohibit pravāraṇā; one should not ask for permission. Why is that? The pravāraṇā itself is permission. Furthermore, [if] it is not known whether pravāraṇā is today or tomorrow, the Buddha said: at the time of the light meal or at the time of the main meal, the elder shall proclaim:)
