長老一心念！我比丘某甲，有某病緣故，此某非時漿，為經非時服故，今於長老邊受。（三說。受餘二藥法同。七日應言：）為共宿七日服故。（盡形應言：）為共宿長服故。（七日藥者，酥等。盡形藥者，一切醎、醋等，不任為食者。）

"Let the venerable one bear in mind single-mindedly! I, bhikṣu so-and-so, due to such-and-such an illness, now determine before the venerable one this such-and-such unseasonal syrup to consume it throughout the unseasonal hours." (Spoken three times. The procedure for the other two medicines is identical. For the seven-day medicine, one should say:) "to keep overnight and consume for seven days." (For the lifetime medicine, one should say:) "to keep overnight and consume long-term." (Seven-day medicines are ghee and the like. Lifetime medicines are all salts, vinegars, and the like, that do not serve as meal food.)
