大德僧聽！此住處若衣、若非衣，現前僧應分；僧今與某甲比丘，彼當與僧。誰諸長老忍此住處若衣、若非衣，現前僧應分；僧與某甲比丘，彼當與僧者默然，誰不忍者說。僧已忍與某甲比丘，彼當與僧竟。僧忍，默然故，是事如是持。（作此法已，准人多少等分。沙彌若和合，等分；若不和合，二分與一；又若不和，三分與一；又若不與，不應分。僧伽藍人四分與一；若不與，不應分。）

"Let the saṃgha, bhadantas, listen! At this dwelling place, whether robes or non-robes, the saṃgha present ought to divide [them]; the saṃgha now gives [them] to bhikṣu so-and-so, and he shall distribute [them] to the saṃgha. Whichever āyuṣmats consent that at this dwelling place, whether robes or non-robes, the saṃgha present ought to divide [them], and the saṃgha gives [them] to bhikṣu so-and-so, and he shall distribute [them] to the saṃgha, let them remain silent; whoever does not consent, let him speak. The saṃgha has consented to give [them] to bhikṣu so-and-so, and he shall distribute [them] to the saṃgha. The saṃgha consents, because it is silent; thus is this matter maintained." (Having performed this procedure, divide them equally according to the number of people. If śrāmaṇeras are harmonious, divide equally; if not harmonious, give one share out of two shares; furthermore, if not harmonious, give one share out of three shares; furthermore, if not given, they should not be divided [to them]. To monastery servants (ārāmika), give one share out of four shares; if not given, they should not be divided [to them].)
