1.77

大德一心念！我某甲，今請大德為十戒阿闍梨，願大德為我作十戒阿闍梨。我依大德故，得受沙彌戒，慈愍故。（三說。應報：）可爾。

"May the Venerable One single-mindedly give heed! I, named so-and-so, now request the Venerable One to be the ācārya of the ten precepts; may the Venerable One act as the ācārya of the ten precepts for me. Relying upon the Venerable One, I obtain the śrāmaṇera precepts, out of your compassion." (Spoken three times. [The ācārya] should answer:) "It is well."
