大德僧聽！我某甲比丘，犯某偷蘭遮罪，今從僧乞懺悔。願僧聽我某甲比丘懺悔，慈愍故。（三說。）

"Let the saṃgha, venerable sirs, listen! I, the bhikṣu [so-and-so], have committed [such-and-such] sthūlātyaya offense, and now request confession from the saṃgha. May the saṃgha permit me, the bhikṣu [so-and-so], to confess, out of compassion." (Three times.)
