對三比丘懺悔法（即前中品偷蘭遮罪，應對小眾懺。但小眾者，須對三人。彼比丘應往三清淨比丘所，請一為懺悔主。其懺悔主既受請已，不得即許，改單白為問邊人，應問彼二比丘云：）

The Procedure for Confession before Three Bhikṣus (This refers to the aforementioned middling-grade sthūlātyaya offenses, which should be confessed before a small group. However, a small group must consist of three persons. That bhikṣu should go to three pure bhikṣus and invite one to serve as the master of confession. Having accepted the invitation, that master of confession must not agree immediately; altering the simple motion into asking the bystanders, he should ask those two bhikṣus, saying:)
