若二長老聽我受某甲比丘懺者，我當受。（彼二比丘答言：）可爾。（彼懺悔主得二比丘許已，方始答懺者云：）可爾。（懺法如上。對二人懺，同此無異，唯捨墮通得對二作。）

"If the two venerable ones permit me to receive the confession of the bhikṣu [so-and-so], I shall receive it." (Those two bhikṣus reply, saying:) "It is permitted." (Only after that master of confession has obtained permission from the two bhikṣus does he reply to the confessor, saying:) "It is permitted." (The confession procedure is as above. Confession before two persons is the same as this without difference, except that the relinquishment [and confession] of niḥsargika may generally be performed before two.)
