大德僧聽！某甲比丘，故畜（若干、眾多）長衣（餘隨種名，事別稱之），過十日，犯捨墮。此衣已捨與僧，是中有（若干、眾多）波逸提罪（餘罪隨稱），今從僧乞懺悔。若僧時到，僧忍聽，我受某甲比丘懺悔。白如是。（作是白已，始應答云：）可爾。

"Let the saṃgha, venerable sirs, listen! The bhikṣu [so-and-so] intentionally kept [a certain number of / many] extra robes (name other items individually according to their type), exceeding ten days, committing a niḥsargika-pāyattika. These robes have already been relinquished to the saṃgha, and herein there are [a certain number of / many] pāyattika offenses (name other offenses accordingly). He now requests confession from the saṃgha. If the saṃgha's time has arrived, and the saṃgha approves and permits it, I will receive the confession of the bhikṣu [so-and-so]. Such is the motion." (Having made this motion, only then should he reply saying:) "It is permitted."
