大德僧聽！某甲比丘，故畜（爾許、眾多）長衣（餘隨種別稱之），過十日，犯捨墮，今捨與僧。僧持此衣與彼某甲比丘，彼某甲比丘當還此某甲比丘。誰諸長老忍僧持此衣與彼某甲比丘，彼某甲比丘當還此某甲比丘者默然，誰不忍者說。僧已忍與彼某甲比丘衣竟。僧忍，默然故，是事如是持。（一月衣、急施過後畜、長鉢及藥，皆同，唯稱事別為異。）

"May the bhadanta saṃgha listen! Bhikṣu so-and-so intentionally kept [so many / numerous] extra robes (name them differently according to the specific item), and having exceeded ten days, committed forfeiture, and now forfeits them to the saṃgha. The saṃgha takes these robes and gives them to that bhikṣu so-and-so, and that bhikṣu so-and-so shall return them to this bhikṣu so-and-so. Whichever āyuṣmats approve that the saṃgha takes these robes and gives them to that bhikṣu so-and-so, and that bhikṣu so-and-so shall return them to this bhikṣu so-and-so, remain silent; whoever does not approve, speak! The saṃgha has already approved giving the robes to that bhikṣu so-and-so. Because the saṃgha approves and is silent, thus is this matter maintained." (Robes for one month, robes kept after an urgent gift, extra bowls, and medicines are all the same, differing only by naming the specific matter.)
