2.54

大德僧聽！我某甲比丘，犯某僧殘罪，覆藏（若干）日。我某甲比丘，犯某僧殘罪，隨覆藏（若干）日，已從僧乞覆藏羯磨；僧已與我某甲比丘隨覆藏（若干）日羯磨。我某甲比丘行覆藏竟，已從僧乞六夜摩那埵；僧已與我某甲比丘六夜摩那埵。我今行摩那埵法，願僧憶持。（三說。佛聽行摩那埵比丘亦行如上七五之事，一一如前覆藏行法。餘白准知，隨事具牒。）

"May the venerable saṃgha listen! I, bhikṣu so-and-so, committed a certain saṃghāvaśeṣa offence and concealed it for [such-and-such a number of] days. Having committed a certain saṃghāvaśeṣa offence and concealed it for [such-and-such a number of] days, I, bhikṣu so-and-so, have already requested from the saṃgha the karman for concealment; the saṃgha has already granted to me, bhikṣu so-and-so, the karman for concealment corresponding to [such-and-such a number of] days. Having completed the practice of concealment, I, bhikṣu so-and-so, have already requested from the saṃgha the six nights' mānatva; the saṃgha has already granted to me, bhikṣu so-and-so, the six nights' mānatva. I am now performing the mānatva practice. May the saṃgha keep this in mind." (Spoken three times. The Buddha allowed a bhikṣu performing mānatva to also carry out the thirty-five duties mentioned above, each one just as in the previous procedure for performing concealment. The remaining announcements are to be understood by analogy, with the particulars fully recorded according to the case.)
