大德！我足食已，知是看是，此作餘食法。（彼比丘應取少許食已，語此比丘言：）長老！我已食止，汝取食之。（彼應答言：）爾。（作此法已，得隨意食。）

'Bhadanta! Having eaten my fill, knowing this and seeing this, this is the leftover food procedure.' (That bhikṣu should take a little food and say to this bhikṣu:) 'Venerable! I have finished eating; you take it and eat.' (He should reply:) 'Yes.' (Having performed this procedure, one may eat at will.)
