大德僧聽！於某城中某居士家，夫婦得信，為佛弟子，財物還多；僧今與某居士解學家羯磨。誰諸長老忍僧與某居士解學家羯磨者默然，誰不忍者說。僧已忍與某居士解學家羯磨竟。僧忍，默然故，是事如是持。

Let the saṃgha, bhadantas, listen! In such-and-such a city, in the family of such-and-such a householder, husband and wife have attained faith and become disciples of the Buddha, and their wealth and goods have again become abundant; the saṃgha now revokes the karman of a learner's family for the householder So-and-so. Whichever āyuṣmats approve the saṃgha's revoking the karman of a learner's family for the householder So-and-so, let them remain silent; whoever does not approve, let him speak. The saṃgha has approved revoking the karman of a learner's family for the householder So-and-so. Because the saṃgha approves, it is silent; so is this matter maintained.
