'Let the saṃgha, bhadantas, listen! Bhikṣu so-and-so suffers from consumption, and has a rag-robe that is heavy; having business, he wishes to travel among people, but is unable to carry it along; he has requested from the saṃgha the formulation of not losing his robes; now the saṃgha formulates for bhikṣu so-and-so the not losing of his robes. Whichever venerable ones approve the saṃgha's formulating for bhikṣu so-and-so the not losing of his robes, remain silent; whoever does not approve, speak! The saṃgha has already approved formulating for bhikṣu so-and-so the not losing of his robes. The saṃgha approves, therefore it is silent; so is this matter maintained.'
