大姊僧聽！我某甲沙彌尼，今從僧乞二歲學戒，和尚尼某甲。願僧與我二歲學戒，慈愍故。（三說。應將沙彌尼往離聞處、著見處已，眾中秉法者，應如是作。）

"Listen, ayye saṃgha! I, the śrāmaṇerikā named so-and-so, now ask the saṃgha for two years of training in the precepts, with the upādhyāyinī named so-and-so. May the saṃgha grant me two years of training in the precepts, out of compassion." (Spoken three times. Having led the śrāmaṇerikā away to a place out of hearing but in sight, the officiant among the saṃgha should proceed thus:)
