作餘語羯磨法（若有比丘尼犯罪，諸比丘尼問言：「汝自知犯罪不耶？」即以餘事報諸比丘尼：「汝向誰語？為說何事？為論何理？為語我？為語誰耶？是誰犯罪？罪由何生？我不見罪！云何言我有罪？」佛言：「自今已去，聽白已，當名作餘語。」應如是白：）

Procedure for the karman on prevarication: (If there is a bhikṣuṇī who commits an offence, and the bhikṣuṇīs ask her, 'Do you yourself know whether you have committed an offence or not?' and she immediately replies to the bhikṣuṇīs with irrelevant matters: 'To whom are you speaking? What matter are you talking about? What principle are you discussing? Are you speaking to me? To whom are you speaking? Who committed an offence? From what did the offence arise? I do not see any offence! Why do you say I have an offence?' The Buddha said: 'From this day forth, after making a jñapti, she shall be formally designated as prevaricating.' One should make the jñapti thus:)
