2.54

大姊僧聽！僧差某甲比丘尼，為僧作功德衣。誰諸大姊忍僧差某甲比丘尼，為僧作功德衣者默然，誰不忍者說。僧已忍差某甲比丘尼，為僧作功德衣竟。僧忍，默然故，是事如是持。（作法如前。）

"Suṇātu me ayye saṃgho! The saṃgha appoints bhikṣuṇī so-and-so to make the kaṭhina robe for the saṃgha. Whichever ayyes approve the saṃgha's appointing bhikṣuṇī so-and-so to make the kaṭhina robe for the saṃgha, let them remain silent; whoever does not approve, let her speak. The saṃgha has approved the appointment of bhikṣuṇī so-and-so to make the kaṭhina robe for the saṃgha. The saṃgha approves, therefore it is silent; so is this matter maintained." (The procedure for making it is as before.)
