與不癡毘尼法（若有比丘尼癡狂心亂，多犯眾罪，非沙門法，言無齊限，行來出入不順威儀。後還得心，有諸比丘尼言：「犯重罪波羅夷、僧伽婆尸沙。」問言：「汝憶犯重罪不？」彼即答言：「我先癡狂心亂時多犯眾罪，非我故作，是狂癡耳，諸妹不須數見難詰。」諸比丘尼故難詰不止。佛言：「聽僧與作不癡毘尼白四羯磨。」乞作如文。）

The procedure for granting the settlement for the non-insane (amūḍha-vinaya): (If there is a bhikṣuṇī who was insane and mentally disturbed, frequently committed multiple offences, acted contrary to the recluse's code, spoke without restraint, and whose coming and going, exiting and entering were not in accord with proper deportment; later, having regained her mind, there are bhikṣuṇīs who say, "You committed grave offences: pārājika and saṃghāvaśeṣa," and question her, saying, "Do you recollect committing a grave offence or not?" She immediately replies, "Previously, when I was insane and mentally disturbed, I frequently committed multiple offences. It was not done intentionally by me; it was simply madness and insanity. Sisters, you need not repeatedly challenge and cross-examine me." The bhikṣuṇīs nevertheless challenge and cross-examine her without ceasing. The Buddha said, "I allow the saṃgha to carry out the jñapticaturtha-karman of the settlement for the non-insane for her." The request to perform it is as in the text.)
