大姊僧聽！我某甲比丘尼得乾痟病，有小因緣欲人間行，有糞掃臥具極重，不堪持行，我今從僧乞作新臥具羯磨。（三說。僧若是與。）

"Suṇātu me ayye saṃgho! I, bhikṣuṇī [so-and-so], suffer from a wasting disease, have a minor reason to travel among people, and have pāṃsukūla bedding that is extremely heavy and which I am unable to carry. I now request from the saṃgha the karman to make new bedding." (To be spoken three times. The saṃgha grants it in this way:)
