大姊僧聽！此某甲比丘尼得乾痟病，有糞掃臥具重，欲人間遊行，今從僧乞更作新臥具羯磨；僧與此某甲比丘尼更作新臥具羯磨。誰諸大姊忍僧與此某甲比丘尼更作新臥具羯磨者默然，誰不忍者說。僧已忍與某甲比丘尼更作新臥具羯磨竟。僧忍，默然故，是事如是持。

"Suṇātu me ayye saṃgho! This bhikṣuṇī [so-and-so] suffers from a wasting disease, has pāṃsukūla bedding that is heavy, and wishes to travel among people; she now requests from the saṃgha the karman to make new bedding anew; the saṃgha grants to this bhikṣuṇī [so-and-so] the karman to make new bedding anew. Whichever ayyes consent to the saṃgha granting to this bhikṣuṇī [so-and-so] the karman to make new bedding anew, remain silent; whoever does not consent, speak. The saṃgha has consented to grant to bhikṣuṇī [so-and-so] the karman to make new bedding anew. The saṃgha consents, therefore it is silent; thus is this matter maintained."
