3.85

我有某別眾食緣，欲求入。（佛言：「當聽隨上座次入。」別眾食緣者，病時、作衣時、施衣時、道行時、船行時、大眾集時、沙門施食時。若比丘尼無別眾食因緣，彼比丘尼即當起白言：）

"I have such-and-such a circumstance for gaṇa-bhojana, and wish to request entry." (The Buddha said: "Permission should be granted to enter in accordance with the order of seniority." The circumstances for gaṇa-bhojana are: a time of illness, a time of robe-making, a time of receiving robes, a time of traveling on the road, a time of traveling by boat, a time of a great gathering, and a time of an offering of food by renunciants. If a bhikṣuṇī does not have a qualifying circumstance for gaṇa-bhojana, that bhikṣuṇī should immediately stand up and announce:)
