"Suṇātu me ayye saṃgho! This bhikṣuṇī so-and-so, after the saṃgha formally designated her as prevaricating, then vexed and pestered the saṃgha: when summoned, she does not come; when not summoned, she comes; when she should rise, she does not rise; when she should not rise, she rises; when she should speak, she does not speak; when she should not speak, she speaks. If the saṃgha's time has arrived, and the saṃgha approves, let the bhikṣuṇī so-and-so be restricted and formally designated as behaving vexatiously. Such is the ñatti." (After having made this ñatti, she is designated as vexing the saṃgha. If one vexes the saṃgha before the ñatti is made, it is in all cases a duṣkṛta; if one vexes the saṃgha after the ñatti has been made, it is in all cases a prāyaścittika.)
